Victoria's Secret Eyeshadow in 24K

I heard this eyeshadow was out of stock for a while and at some point rumor has it that it was discontinued? Anyway, it was a year ago since I heard about it. At the time I did go on a search for it and couldn't find it. (So, I didn't really know how it looks like) Recently, one of my best friends gave me a coupon for $10 and the eyeshadow was exactly $10. So basically, I got it for free.

I just happened to look at the cosmetics section from VS, cause I didn't know what I want to get from the lingerie section and this sparkly eyeshadow caught my eye. I decided to look at the name and I couldn't believe this was the eyeshadow I've been on the hunt for a year ago!

This is an eyeshadow I wouldn't use on daily basis because it is a bit too sparkly. I would use it during the holidays and maybe out to dinner. So pretty!

Rock & Republic Cosmetics #3

I finally got my last shipment of R&R blushes! I thought Tease would look purple like in the picture, but once it's on my face, it actually looks like a light pink.

Dior Hydra Life Pro Youth Skin Tint in #1 Natural

I just ran out of my Giorgio Armani Liquid Foundation, so I decided to go hunt for another one. I've always wanted to try tinted moisturizers since they're suppose to be very moisturizing without making the face look overdone.

I tried Estee Lauder's tinted moisturizer and I really like it but I had a $15 off coupon for Sephora and they don't carry Estee Lauder so I had to look for something else. I looked at Clinique and Laura Mercier but then their color choices weren't meant for me.

So I stumble upon CD and decided to give it a try since I've tested their products in Seph before and really liked their products and what stopped me from getting it was the price to size ratio. Their products were smaller than other companies but their price was just as high. Since, I had the $15 off over $40 I decided to try it out. I was upset that it was $1 from being able to pay only $25 for it. I had to grab a sponge from the makeup forever counter since it was the closest to the cash register. Oh, I forgot to mention that line was LOOOONG. I didn't feel like getting off the line to go look for something around $1-2. So, I grabbed the sponge (asking one of the salesperson how much it was, and he said $2.50, thinking it was PERFECT!) But then the sponge came out to be $4. For a frickin sponge??!!! $4!!! Are they serious? With that price I could get myself something else more useful....:( That sponge wasn't anything special. Maybe I can return it? But I'm not sure if they'll let me....it's unopened though maybe I'll give it a shot when I get a chance.

Hydra Life Pro Youth Tinted Moisturizer $39 - $15 = $24 + tax

Overall, I like this product. It gave me a natural look and I like how it feels on my skin. Also, I can't believe that for the first time, I bought the lightest color available without it looking like a mask on me! There were like 3 colors avail I think.

Shu Uemura 20% OFF!! (purchased on November 28, 2010)

I got a few things from Shu Uemura.
Brush $18.00 - 20% = $14.40

I have a lot of brushes already but I don't have one quite like this one. The tip is very small and flat. I'm always in the lookout for a good eyeliner brush. I now believe the right tools can help make your life easier. Different brushes will affect how thick + thin the lines will come out, how smoothly it will be applied, oh, and did I mention the amount of precision and control it can give you? I've tried using small pointed brushes, angled brushes, and now a small flat on

 phyto-black lift firming anti-wrinkle cream = Free

Limited Edition 24K Eyelash Curler: $24.00 - 20% = $19.20

Limited Edition high performance cleansing oil, $30.00 - 20% = $24.00

I've tried the cleansing oil by Shu before in the trial size but I returned it after one use. I guess it was because I didn't know how to use it? You're suppose to slather it on your face dry (without water) first then after rubbing it to get the makeup off, then you're suppose to rinse it off with water. I remember following the instructions correctly but then I guess the oil went into my eyes and made them really blurry and my makeup didn't come off right away so I was greatly disappointed.

BUT, I decided to give it another shot. I LOVE this one! I'm not sure if the formula is different than the one I tried but for some reason this one felt smoother when I'm rubbing it on my face. ALL of my makeup came right off after rinsing, including my Maybelline Falsies Waterproof mascara.

Rock & Republic Cosmetics #1

I've heard great things about the R&R cosmetic line so I've decided to try it for myself. It's unfortunate that they are discontinuing this line because their products are quite nice. I guess it was too expensive so no one bought it. I got these when they went on sale for half off.

The fancy box it came in

Eyeshadow inside the fancy packaging

Blush in X-Rated ($20)

Eyeshadow in Asphalt ($14)

Eyeshadow in Femme ($14)

Press Foundation in Suede ($22)

Sigma Brushes ($150)

I've always wanted to get a full set of good makeup brushes and I've finally decided to invest in them. I started applying makeup with my fingers, then I've moved on to sponges, then inexpensive drugstore brushes, and now finally better quality ones. I think it's because I wanted to learn how to use them first and become a little more experience, that way I know exactly what I'm looking for next time around.

The brush roll comes with 12 brushes + the brush roll case (black) + 1 free brush ($99)
The High Definition brushes (3 brushes) ($42)
Shipping ($9)
Total = $150

The above 3 brushes are the Sigma High Definition brushes.

MAC Fix +

This is my second bottle. I use this to moisten my face when I feel like my makeup gets cakey. For some reason the last one I had the product was blue but this one is clear, I'm not sure if it's the same though....

This is a full coverage concealer that is great for spot concealing. I just use a very very very small amount to hide tiny imperfections.

Kai Beauty Care - Razor for Eyebrows

Kai Beauty Care - Disposable Razors

These razors are great for shaping the eyebrows if you don't want to pluck them because they might not grow back. Especially, if you pluck the top of your eyebrows.

I bought these at Mitsuwa, a Japanese Supermarket in New Jersey.

Dior Mascara + Lash Plumper

DiorShow Maximizer Lash Plumping Serum ($28 + Tax)

DiorShow Blackout Mascara ($24 + Tax)

I wanted to try these out for sooo long. I was debating whether or not I should spend so much on mascaras. I've been using the Maybelline Volume Express Waterproof for a few years now, but then I started noticing that my lashes are not as strong and they fall out a bit more often. I wasn't sure if it's the waterproof formula,or if drugstore mascaras are just not as great, or just me aging. So I finally got these Dior ones to see if it's worth all the hype. I've only used it for a few days so I don't know if they're good or bad. I just know that I don't like the non-waterproof mascaras because they make my lashes straight again after I curl i
