THE FACE SHOP: White Mud Nose Pack

After reading some blogs, I saw this product and really wanted to try it. I'm pretty lucky that we have THE FACE SHOP in NYC. There's actually 2 locations, one in Korean Town, aka K-Town at 32nd Street Manhattan, and one in Flushing.

It works super well at taking out all the nasty stuff. Oh, the tube is quite small, the picture makes it look decently big but then in person, the tube is a lot smaller.

Painful, but totally worth it when you see what it takes out.

OK PREPARE TO BE GROSSED OUT!!!!!

My Version of "Project 10 Pan": "Project Hit Bottom" Series 1

So the original "Project 10 Pan" is finish using a beauty product, a makeup product to be more specific, and using it until you see the metal part at the bottom, aka "pan". A lot of people in the beauty world has followed this trend because they feel guilty buying sooooo many products and never finishing them.

I, myself, have been guilty of this, so I stretched this concept to other products I keep buying and wanting to try but never finish them. For example, shampoos and conditioners.

I know it may not seem like a huge accomplishment that I finished these products, but it took a long time......
To go through these bottles really took an effort because I don't know about you, but I use things half way and get bored of them. I'm always on a look out for new products to try. After looking at all the stuff I have, I feel like I'm a hoarder, trying to keep everything and not wanting to waste them but can't resist getting new things.

I finally finished the SunSilk shampoo and conditioner. The Pantene ProV is probably my most re-purchase item, I probably went through like 8 bottles of shampoo + conditioner already. The bottle on the bottom is the Clarins Toner in Chamomile (2nd bottle), the little black/silver Cap bottle next to the Clarins and below the SunSilk is the Lancome Genifique Concentrate (just finished the 1st bottle). The huge bottle with pump on far top right is the Purity cleanser by Philosophy. It's the largest size available and I'm almost done. The last product I went through is the Fusain Facial Wash by Mandom Corp. The facial wash was really good for it's price, I think it was like around $4 and it lasted me a loooooong time. It's like a gentle minty scrub.

So, I finally hit bottom for these products and I'm so proud of myself. I feel like I shouldn't purchase anymore products until I finish almost everything I have. My next step is finishing some of my makeup. I feel like even if I apply makeup everyday, I cannot finish with the amount I have. I know I can but it's definitely going to take time. A LONG TIME.......

Worst Foundation Combo

Today I used Dior's tinted moisturizer (TM) and i.d. bare minerals to set the tinted moisturizer and I got such terrible results. I didn't take a pic of it, but I'm sure whoever saw me in person would know what I'm talking about. I know, I realized how nasty it looked but what can I do? I only have one shot to do it in the morning before work. I'm not gonna wash it all off and start over.

The mineral powder did not set well on top of the TM. It literally looked like it just sat on top of it, not blending in at all.......oh well, lesson learned. I use different foundations everyday depending on my mood and the weather. The different foundations all have different shades. I'm spontaneous when it comes to my makeup, I apply whatever I'm feeling at the moment.

Nubar Nail Polish

I absolutely love this nail polish! I think it gives it an awesome result.

On the bottom I'm wearing OPI's Lincoln Park After Dark, and the top is Nubar G188 Nubar2010.

Shu Uemura Cleansing Oil

After I used the Shu Uemura Limited Edition Cleansing Oil I fell in love with this product! I was looking at the ingredients and found that the Limited Edition one was the same as this cleansing oil (the yellow one). The Limited Edition one was like $30 for 150ml. I can get this regular one, $29 for 150ml and the larger size is $65 for 450ml, so of course I got the larger one.

This cleansing oil takes off all my makeup including the stubborn waterproof mascara.

I got this cleansing oil in the pink one as one of the samples with this purchase. The pink one in the 150ml and 450ml was out of stock so I decided to stick with something I used before, but I still wanted to try this pink one out for next time.

Here is the instructions to how to use the cleansing oils.

Since I needed to get the cleansing oil, I thought I should get it now while it was still the month of my birthday. I got this small travel size face mist for free with the code FEBBDAY.
